Integrated Maintenance Management System (IMMS®)
Traditionally, plants and equipment have been maintained in response to breakdowns. However, over the years, maintenance has evolved into a sophisticated set of techniques designed to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
To attain this objective, SMS Siemag has provided a management tool that takes the normal Computerised Maintenance Management System and fully equips it with RCM-related aspects like equipment trees and job plans, together with Basic Spare Parts Management and Plant Process Monitoring.
