Sales Engineer: Spare Parts & Services
Location: Parktown, with extensive travel
Requirements: Mechanical Engineering degree / diploma. Extensive experience in the steel, Ferro-alloy or non-ferrous metals industries.
Position: This sales position is based in the spare parts and technical services division. Responsibility for developing and maintaining a customer base, performing technical services enquiry evaluations and estimations, preparation of spare parts and services cost/price calculations and of tender documents, technical contract negotiations with clients and facilitation of the process surrounding buy orders locally and internationally.
Behavioral competencies required: Customer service orientation; good interpersonal and communication skills; initiative; persuasiveness; quality orientation; and teamwork.
